Labadee and beach chairs question

Haven't been to Labadee in years.  Are beach chairs still available at no charge?  Seeing on the ship excursions that you can get chairs for $53.00@ which to me sounds crazy.  I think I'm allergic to spending over $100 for two beach chairs.  If that's the case we'll just walk around, have lunch and go back to the ship.  Any helpful info to share is appreciated.

Loungers and umbrellas are free of charge all over the island.

The "beach loungers for two" come with a clamshell shade, but it's really not necessary given the availability of umbrellas and loungers everywhere now.  Plus I've heard that the clamshells are really hot due to no air flow.

I'll second that. We were there in February and spent most of our day on Adrenaline beach in free loungers with umbrellas. Later in the day we walked over to Nellie's beach, again, with free loungers and umbrellas. Have a great time!!

Yes but bring cash to tip the attendant that will move loungers for you if needed.

This is great info. I’m going to Labadee for the first time May 2024 and I saw the listed price for two loungers. It left the impression that chairs/umbrellas were not free.
