Silhouette SV

I’m thinking of booking a SV on the Silhouette for a transatlantic cruise. My concern is there no shade at all?  Has anyone brought

a covering for some shade?

What kind of shade covering do you mean?  Personally, I would not book a room that didn't offer some sort of shade on the balcony...and I have a hard enough time getting all my clothes/shoes/toiletries packed...just seems like one more thing.  Maybe others have some suggestions for shade.

Eastbound? Westbound? Eastbound=afternoon/evening sun, Westbound=morning sun.

It always depends on time of day and direction of travel.

Thank you for your replies..it is a east bound cruise…I guess it will be more discussion with the husband…

Every balcony on Shilouette has partial shade unless it is late afternoon and you are sailing directly away from the sun.
