We occupied a Princess Grill Suite Midship Forward Deck 10 last September for 14 days and were entirely satisfied with the location and exposure of the sunlight. Even much that we will be booking PG for future sailings.

Though the cabin location was forward and quite a walk to the complete rear of the ship to Elevator Bank D to Deck 7, it was a good way to walk off those calories.

Also it was one deck above the Concierge Lounge.

QM2 PG cabins are in a different league from the Vista ones.

You bet! And that is why are glad to have her mostly on the East Coast.

We enjoy each and every voyage no matter where we booking her to go..

On a liner, there was plenty of space to design cabins/suites of different variety.

Yes, the ones on QM2 are square, which means a longer outside wall and windows, and a larger balcony.

Kathy, you are right which benefits her design and layout.

PGs on QM2 are 1.5x wider than Britannia. QGs on QM2 are 2x wider than Britannia.  We went QG on QM2 - we would have been very happy with PG but the difference in price was small. Must admit the balcony was lovely facing south in October sunshine

On Vista and QA the PGs are the same width as Britannia, just longer

We have "only" booked PG on QA next summer, but on a trip to the fjords we hope to be spending more time on deck/ashore than on a TA; booked Grills as much for the dining and the Grills deck area (which seem to be a lot better than the essentially non existent grills deck area on QM2). The QGs are sold out already for that QA June 24 cruise.
