Bringing Beer on Board

I know you can bring a bottle of wine on per person.  Sailing out of NOLA looking to bring some local craft beer aboard.  How much can 2 adults bring?

None, you can only bring a bottle of wine (1 Per person over 21) and/or 12 cans of soft drinks.

Check your ship's bar menu.  Some ships out of NOLA carry Abita, maybe one or 2 others. But you're not going to be able to walk into 504 Craft Beer Reserve and buy a sixer of Eden Less Holy or Great Raft's Commotion and drink it at sea.☹️

Out of New Orleans they usually have Abita Amber and Abita Purple Haze on board.

@sydney dog  Head for Nola Tropical Winery  along the Port of New Orleans  at the foot of Poydras Street  for some Louisiana wine.

One option is to take cans of non alcoholic beer onboard. We did that last carnival cruise. The beer companies here in Australia all seem to be releasing non alcoholic beers. Huge variety to choose from.  Excellent quality too (unlike the poor quality non alcoholic wine).

Not allowed in the States. Though. Some good NA beers here from craft brewers.  Carnival ships have Heineken Zero on board.

That's a shame. Here, we're not allowed to take the one bottle of wine on that you're allowed to in the States.
