Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort Hotel

Anyone stay here pre-cruise?  Restaurants, shopping, etc nearby?  Any information would be helpful.

Yes...I have stayed there several times. Great location with the beach right across the street. There are many restaurants within walking distance as well as a Starbucks and a Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel.

We stayed at this property years ago pre cruise and thought it was lovely.  Dw loved the Starbucks next door.  We both liked the little overpass to walk to the beach (reminded us of Vegas) as we didn't have to worry about traffic.  Casablanca Cafe is right around the corner (definitely walkable) and it was excellent.

There is a 24/7 CVS at Beachplace just a few blocks away that has groceries and wine/beer.

Very nice hotel in a good location, but the bathrooms are a little different.
