Rotterdam, NL, embarkation question

This is probably a stupid question but we are planning on a Baltic /TA cruise next year that sails out of Rotterdam.
Do you fly into Rotterdam or Amsterdam to get to Rotterdam for embarkation?  Amsterdam seems to have more direct flights from the US ...is this the airport we want? Is it difficult to get to Rotterdam from Amsterdam?

thank you

AMS (the airport) is between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and serves both.

There are several discussions on the Western Europe board and transportation options.

Thanks so much. i will check over there.

It’s very easy to get to Rotterdam from Schiphol (AMS).

26 minutes by Intercity Direct train (€ 14,50 and € 2,90 extra). Schiphol to Rotterdam Centraal Station

51 minutes by normal Intercity (€ 14,50)

  • Thanks 1
