NCL Escape 8pm departure from NYC - When can you board?

Just looking for a rough guesstimate as to when they might start boarding so we can arrange a ride ahead of time. The ship should be empty of passengers already.

Also, I noticed that the Escape has a Miami sailing from 8/13 to 8/20, then ours out of NYC on 8/22.  I'm guessing they're doing an empty repo up to NY?

Yes. Ship always sails empty between flordia and New York

Boarding and check in is the usual time like at around 930/10 checkin and around 11/1130 boarding

Interesting, I guess the crew uses the two days for drills/time off?

Deep cleaning of everything.  Usually some kind of dinner for all of the staff by the Officers.  Yes, some training  Some time off but very little.

Interesting,

A law called the Passenger Vessel Services Act (PVSA) prevents them (all foreign-flagged vessels) from transporting passengers between US ports (embarking in one, disembarking in the other) without stopping at a distant foreign port.
