I have not been on a Spirit class ship in easily 15 years. I've become less tolerant of second hand smoke with the passage of time. Obviously, I don't want to find myself in an uncomfortable situation. I'm guessing, as I said, that the sheer (limited) size of the casino precludes them from having distinct sections of smoking/non-smoking.

We are on the Pride in late July for a 12 night cruise.  I will report back on the smokiness of the casino.  I got spoiled on the Mardi Gras and Celebration, and the wonderful nonsmoking sections of the casinos.

I enjoy sailing on the Pride. Love the look of an older ship and dark wood.

However cruising at Thanksgiving when school is out could be very interesting !

This will be our third Thanksgiving cruise so we know what to expect.

I got you. I'm not a smoke lover myself,  and I never thought it was bad on a Spirit Class ships,  and now that the casino bar has been removed, I'm guessing it will be even better. 😎
