New to NCL-when are category guarantee staterooms assigned?

I am new to NCL and just booked a cruise that departs in 36 days. The only option for a club suite balcony was "best available" guarantee.  When will the actual stateroom number be assigned?

Any time between now and your arrival at port.  But likely in the next few days.

Had ours four months in advance. Are you sure it isn't already on your confirmation?

Guarantees can be assigned the day you book, right before you cruise, or any time in between.

So, since you 'liked' my comment, should we assume you found the cabin number?

@omahabobNo, I don't have a stateroom number. As I said in my original post, when I booked this cruise ,this am, there was not an option to choose a specific cabin.  I had to book a category guarantee. My booking only shows that I am guaranteed a club balcony suite room.

Okay. I thought they may have already chosen one for you, but not pointed that out. That's what happened to us last time.

I recently upgraded from an OV to a Club Suite Guarantee Rate.  While the cabin number did not appear on the confirmation my TA sent, it did show up in the Reservation-at-a-glance section online at NCL.com.

 

And, fortunately, it appears to NOT be directly under the Fitness Center, Pool or Teen Disco!  🙂
