Jersey week 2023?

Hi cruisers!  I assume Jersey week is still happening or maybe not?  It’s supposed to be on election week, just checking if it’s still an actual week? Affects nyc cruises.  Thx

its a week usually in November when new jersey schools is closed due to a teachers conference. it has no effect with the NYC school system

Schools in nj have Election Day and teachers have a conference Thursday and Friday, so kids take off

Thanks, I'm aware of NJ schools being off that week, just haven't heard it referred as Jersey week. I know Disney is usually crowded that week.  For the original poster, I would suggest checking some local NJ school system calendars.

Will try.  Problem is it affects the nyc cruises

Are you worried there will be more kids on cruises during that week?

Well for what is worth, out of my office staff of 13, I have two who are taking cruises that week to Bermuda, both are bringing their family that together have 7 children total.   I am not sure what lines they are on.

We are taking our kids on the Escape November 5 because they are off due to the teachers convention the 9th and 10th. It is our first time doing a cruise during Jersey week so I’m not sure if it’ll be full of kids.
