insulated water bottle

Hi again, My mother wants to bring her water bottle on upcoming NCL cruise. Is this allowed? Maybe if she doesn't pack it and carry it on.

Empty water bottle is fine.

 

If she is going to fill it at the dispenser, please explain to her how to do it in a sanitary way.

Empty bottle in checked luggage is o.k.

 

Never fill a bottle directly from a water dispenser. Always use a clean cup to pour into your bottle. 

 

Or, if you want a glass of water, go to any bar and get one or two. We never bother with a water bottle whilst on a ship.

As long as it is empty when she boards the ship it is fine, either in carry on or checked luggage.

ok thanks. yes absolutely I already told her she has to fill a cup anyway and fill from the cup.

My wife brought hers last week on Joy and she would fill it with ice and water before leaving the cabin and then the bartenders would happily fill it throughout the day for her by the pool.

Sometimes she'd just get a cup of ice from a roving server and fill her container with that and some flow water she would carry around.
