Proximity to Magic Carpet Cabin question

I am getting ready  to book a cabin which is about 10 doors down from the Magic Carpet.   Are the surrounding cabins able to hear any noise from it as it goes up and down?  How many times during the day does it operate?  Thanks so much for your answers/help.

No issue. You can't really even hear it from inside a Magic Carpet Sky Suite. It moves 1-2 times a day. Sometimes not at all.

I still do not get why they even put in on the ship as it looks ugly.

But the MC improved the access area to tenders and if you tender with the ships tender it is an enhanced experience.  Plus it added another bar it’s great views.
