Premium WiFi, how much!?!

I am looking at WiFi options for our upcoming cruise on the infinity.  We when cruised with celebrity (pre- COVID) I thought they offered a range of options based on ‘number of minutes’.  But not it seems you can only get WiFi if you sign up for a premium package which you need to have everyday which costs $$$$.
 

What am I missing?  Are there any other options?

If you booked a cruise only rate the only option is to purchase Premium. They no longer sell the Basic package. Once onboard you may see a few options available in smaller increments.

If I purchase the premium wifi now and it goes on sale later, do I have the option to cancel and re-book (like an excursion) or am I basically out of luck?

It's very expensive, even on sale.

Yes, you can cancel and then repurchase at the lower rate

We bought the premium upgrade at $2.99 per day. The lowest I’ve seen it outright I think was $15.99 per day during a flash sale.

Not really an option when you have young kids at home, but it would free up the budget if one didn't have to purchase it!
