New to HAL....Question About Boarding Pass...Rotterdam 10/22/23

Hi all...

Very excited about our upcoming first HAL cruise on the Rotterdam later this month out of Fort Lauderdale.

 

I'm confused about when I will get a boarding pass with a boarding time and a bar code from the website.  We are in a Neptune suite which I don't think matters for this question but not sure.    I think (?) we can board at leisure because of our stateroom, but the boarding pass is supposed to have a barcode which isn't on the one that we get from the website.

Any insight/suggestions/advice about this will be greatly appreciated.

You will be sent an updated boarding pass closer to sailing and it will have the bar code and the group you check in with and the time of your check in.

Thank you!   I just got nervous because we are less than three weeks from sailing....

 

How soon before embarkation date does HAL typically assign boarding times?

I think it was about a week before. We actually got two emails. The first was the boarding pass but with no check in time. The second one a few days later had the check in time and boarding group. 
 

One thing to remember you have to do your online check in before you will get your digital boarding pass. If you have not checked in yet I suggest you do it sooner than later.

And your boarding group on that boarding pass with the bar code may still show a later Group time.  You can still board with the first Boarding Group A if you wish.
