Dining together with 2 different class of rooms

Which ship?  Some ships have a different MDR for Aurea, others a separate part of one of the MDRs.  The menus are the same.  If possible it might mean those in Aurea would have to move to the fixed dining.  EM

On Seascape Aurea is in a separate dining room.  You can link the bookings online in the web check-in area but likely will have to work this out with the maitre 'd once on the ship.  They will likely want the Aurea passengers to move to a set dining time with the Fantastica,  but it's not a certainty.

Got off Seascape on Oct 1, 4 Aurea and 6 Fantastica bookings. We were able to change our dining. Our reservations were linked.  Originally, Fantastica was assigned to 5:00PM seating at Cala Jondal. We were able to secure a 7:30 seating at The Green Wave. Small split however, table for 8 and one for 2 closeby. Worked out great for us as some nights few had specialty dining. There was a counter at the beginning of the cruise where you could rebook the tables.

The Green Wave is the Aurea class MDR that offers Aurea guests any time dining? If yes, please share more about how the Fantastica folks were able to dine in the MDR for Aurea guests? That question is asked here a lot. Thanks

Short answer, no, Fantastica guests aren't being upgraded to Anytime dining if they're being seated with their Aurea friends in Green Wave. It's simply the largest dining area with the most seating.

The Green Wave (deck 5), Jondal (deck 6), and Agean (deck 7)  are all for Bella and Fantastica guests. Of those three, which dining room you get is based on which assigned dining time you have. Aurea guests are seated via any time dining at Skyline (also on deck 7). All four of these have the same menu and, therefore, probably the same kitchen.  If there was extra seating at one of the assigned dining times, it looks like they were able to accommodate an Aurea guest or two who would otherwise be seated in a different room ordering the same stuff.
