New Year's Eve aboard on first night celebration???

Our cruise begin on New Year's Eve.  Trying to find out what kind of celebration  Celebriety provides.  Would this be a night to book a Speciality Resturant? Your input is greatly appreciated.

You may be in the best position to see if Specialty is available and the cost.   Usually on New Years Eve and Christmas they have a Special Menu / Celebration in Specialties at a much higher cost than usual.   

 

They will definitely have celebrations throughout the entire ship and is common for a balloon drop in the Main Foyer at midnight.  

 

I'm sure it will be festive regardless of wherever you choose to celebrate.

We were on a cruise this past December that began on New Year's Eve. There was a big party on the pool deck. Lots of drinks, lost of people, lots of music and lots of fun.

 

The only things that were difficult to find were the horns, hats, beads, noise makers and glow sticks. Most of these were available in the dining rooms and restaurants. We were in Aqua but had to ask in Blu as they were not given out when we were there - we had to go back to get them. So ask wherever you dine, and ask others where they got theirs.

 

A funny word though, in your post: "Celebriety ". If that's a combo of Celebrity and Sobriety, you won't find that on the ship on New Year's Eve.
