random tax amounts on statement

Just looking at my statement on my Hal account for my Sep 24 to Oct 7 cruise. There are several random tax charges showing ranging from $4.38 to $6.88.

I did not see these when I checked my account on board or I would have inquired at guest services. 

They do not correspond to drinks bought on board. 

First one is dated 1 Oct, our first US port, Although there is one labeled tax for Sep 30 but the amount is 0.

Does anyone know what this is?

It might be sales tax if you ordered a beverage while in port.  I would send them an email to get clarification, I am like you - I don’t like little stray charges

I thought about that but there were no drinks bought on the days of the charges. And if were tax on a drink, wouldn't be on the receipt you sign for the purchase?
