Meraviglia YC question

Are there any shady spots at all by the YC pool area on the Meraviglia?    How about on the YC beach on the private island - are umbrellas available?

Shady spots are generally easy to find on deck - it's full sun that people have a hard time getting.

 

Umbrellas are plentiful and free in the YC beach. Enjoy!

There are transparent panels above that cover a large part of the sundeck. They don't completely block the sun but they do provide some shade. There are also shaded areas near the pool and bar/grill.

There are plenty of loungers and umbrellas. You just have to open them or have an attendant open them.

The problem with how they designed that pool deck is that the shady areas aren't really shade...  You're still getting UV through tinted glass.

 

Direct sun can easily be found on either extreme side of the deck.  Fully open.  No shading.

Couple other changes, ymmv.  YC theater seating is now port side in the back.  Butler still brings in regular line on right, not sure why changed.

 

Soda used to be like coke zero and sprite zero in cans.  In room it was coke zero in bottles and seven up zero in cans or regular sprite in bottles.  Not an issue, just found odd compared to the past.
