If the cruise port shuttle is $9 per person to the port, Uber or Lyft is cheaper with more than 2 people - and possibly cheaper for 2 if going to terminals 2 or 4 which are outside the security checkpoint close to 17th Street.  We used Uber XL (large SUV) for 4 people this summer to terminal 2 for $18.00.

Just now, DaveOKC said:

How much from the airport to the hotel?  It was $5 per room last Feb.

Probably the same at hotel to FLL. Normally we do a car rental when in FL, but this short stay was post transatlantic, [coming from the UK]   so we didn't do airport to hotel. Give the hotel a call to confirm the cost pp.  At least the van was large and comfortable, not a squished taxi with luggage on top of us.

What hasn't gone up in price? I remember when the hotel transfers were free!

I just called the hotel - $8 pp ($15 for just 1) from airport to hotel.  Price increased in April she said.  Its a separate company.  For that price might as well just take a taxi, especially since their service has been so slow in the past.
