Very smooth embarkation.  The casino is hot, hot, hot.  I will try to post event listings and pics throughout the cruise.  So far, everything is excellent.  Such a gorgeous, new ship.  And Gigi's had the best lunch.  The veal pasta I think was the best Italian dish I've ever had!

Following as we board next Saturday. If you could post the MDR menus for each evening I’d appreciate it! But I understand if the casino is hot, hot, hot then you may not have time for my request. Enjoy your cruise! Look forward to seeing anything you or anyone else on board posts on this Live thread.

So I ate at the buffet tonight.  There is a themed night every night.  Now, I've eaten at A LOT of buffets over the years.  I've been to many in Vegas, Indian Casinos at home and even those like Old Country Buffet and local Chinese buffets.  And tonight had to be one of the best buffets I've ever had.  The seasoning and flavoring was incredible for buffet food.  The variety was good and the German selections were top notch.  And the food was really good quality.  Good Job Princess!  This was definitely not on the cheap -- which so many buffets can be.  I've attached the schedule of buffet themes.

Here's the menu for the main dining room for Saturday November 11 - the Princess Sailaway dinner.  With all my specialty dining reservations and the themed nights in the buffet,  don't think I will even make it to the dining room once this cruise!

Was on the Discovery for Halloween Cruise . The casino was super-hot first day and half, lots of big wins,  after that all downhill. I think that was planned

Agree the veal ravioli was the best and pizza good!  Did 360 2nd time and it was great.

Comedian was also great!

Have a great time!

Up early this morning, thought I would beat everyone to the casino, but nope, about 20 early risers ahead of me.  Well, I'm not sure if they are still up from last night or up this morning.  Coffee in the Intl Cafe is really good this morning.  Funny, I forget the "cream" in the pitcher is actual cream, not half n half like Starbucks.  I need just a drop!

Bistro sur la mer signage has changed to "The Catch", but it appears the bistro is still functioning.  So, I believe it hasn't switched over yet.  It wasn't at all busy when I've walked by.

Gorgeous sunrise this morning, we're almost halfway down the coast of Baja.  Calm seas.  The people on this cruise seem to have a good, happy spirit.

Following 😀 Thanks for posting the events/patter and menus etc. We will be doing this route in January.

X2. It is especially helpful for us as we will be first time Princess cruisers.  We were supposed to be on this Nov. 11 sailing but had to reschedule for January.

Thanks for the suggestion but I’d prefer to see the menus from this week’s cruise as I’ll be on the exact same cruise next week. The menus I found online aren’t current for the 7 day Mexican Riviera sailing. I’m trying to plan which nights we will do specialty dining as we have 2 included in our cruise.

Wifi speeds have been decent enough for me. I've been able to do anything I have wanted.  Wifi calling works ok, a little congested, but nothing too bad.  Photo uploads/downloads work fine.  Tiktok, facebook all work OK.  Youtube is fine to watch on laptop/tablet.  Most everything works fine. Evenings are a little congested.  Very early morning seems to be the fastest.  I wouldn't try to stream a 4K movie, but I think it might actually work fine.

Princess has raised the bar

Tonight I went to the 360 Experience, a new experiential dining experience that is a visual and taste experience like none other.  This was a first class experience, something I would expect Walt Disney World to pull off.  It is part movie and part dinner.  Imagine watching someone prepare lemon pasta in Italy on a 360 wrap around screen around your dining area and then within a few moments they bring the very same dish to you.  It was almost emotionally overwhelming.  This is will be hard for other cruise lines to top.  And now they have the computerized projection system in place they can adapt and change the experience for the future.  Princess really needs someone to come over and promote this new feature.... John Heald are you listening?  Several perfect courses were served with impeccable timing in this 90 minute show.  Whether you are one person or a group of people, this is truly a must see.
