fstuff1 Posted December 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2023 (edited) I saw cars with driver side on the left so I assumed it was US driving rules such as drive on right side. They were driving on left side like British. :o I looked the wrong way when crossing 2 way street. I can imagine 2 cars passing each other on a narrow road to be more dangerous Edited December 11, 2023 by fstuff1
blue_water Posted December 11, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2023 Really no difference on a narrow road since you are (or should be) more aware of the need to be cautious…But absolutely more dangerous on “normal” roads when both vehicles are in the same lane at normal speeds. And of course roundabouts are the most fun for the first time 😯 Glad you didn’t have a mishap!
Rare jean87510 Posted December 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2023 It is especially fun going up and down the windy roads.
Carole2313 Posted December 17, 2023 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2023 There’s a saying in St. Thomas that rightly states “Keep your shoulder to the shoulder” that I repeat often while driving on the island.
