Gluten Free Continental Breakfast Room Service Options

Hi all! We are planning our first Celebrity cruise since I have had to go Gluten Free and I have been researching GF options onboard. From what I understand GF pastries are available on the ship but I have not had any luck finding if they can be requested through room service. On our past Disney cruises all I had to do was note 'Gluten Free' next to the item on the room service card (Muffin, Donut, etc.) and it was not a problem to have the items delivered in the morning. Is it possible to request a GF muffin or toast by noting on the room service card on Celebrity? Thank you in advance!

You need to print "two slices of gluten free toast" or "two gluten free muffins" or however many you want.  That's pretty much their GF continental breakfast repertoire.

I know that it isn't room service but the Head Waiter at dinner can take your preorder for a GF breakfast.  He offered to have made GF waffles, pancakes or any kind of omlete/eggs.  You do have to eat breakfast in the Main Dining Room and the hours weren't too early so we did that for one of our mornings.

Honestly, I would not try to do a gluten free request from room service.  The toast would be made in a toaster that is used for all kinds of bread, and there would likely be crumbs and some cross-contamination.  I wouldn’t trust it.

Our Butler told me there is a dedicated toaster for GF. I had no trouble with the toast or the muffins. Also, the GF pizza is delicious, and the pizza chef has a separate pizza cutter.

Thank you all so much! Sounds like there are options! We definitely plan to eat in the main dining room on sea days as well.

Not true.  Room service has a dedicated toaster.  GF baked goods are made in a separate oven and distributed throughout the ship.  I've been ordering GF from room service on X for 15 years uneventfully.
