This time I only want to visit San Gervasio. Shall I just grab a taxi from the cruise port and make the driver wait at the park?

Found a picture of the board here on CC, one way taxi to San Gervasio is $80! last time we got a jeep to take us both around for $69 each which sounds like a better deal.

Not sure where you saw that? Was this a recent photo?
 

The board at the port used to show a round-trip fare, including about 2 hours waiting, and used to be about $60 for up to 4 people. 

 

That would be a big increase.

OK. The board used to be more descriptive than that and actually had hand-written amendments stating a time limit - that section is “con espera” - with waiting services and I thought used to be $60. You would need to confirm at the port that it is round trip with waiting and how long. The short island tour used to be about 3 hours and full tour 4/5 hours.
 

Recent reports are taxis have gone up again recently but I am not sure how official that report is. I haven’t seen any discussions about official union rates increasing.

Has it gone up again since January? Last list I saw said $80 round trip.

 

Website says entrance is now $14.50. Have you been recently?
