Viva and Prima doors

Are the doors metal? I usually bring an 8x10 laminated photo from my last cruise, and flat magnets to mark my door so its easier to find my cabin in the long line of cabins.

Not sure but I think doors are metal.  There were lots of doors with stuff on them on Prima cruise we were on last month.

NCL has a prohibition on door decorations.

 

not to worry... the cabins have numbers clearly visible adjacent to the door. 

 

and each cabin has a unique, generally sequential, number.

 

i use this to guide me to my cabin. works likes a charm.

Just off the Prima, and the doors are NOT metal.  I think they are some sort of fiberglass.  Magnets would not stick.  The wall next to the door is metal and magnets stuck.  NCL didn't seem to care about our magnets as they stayed up the entire cruise.  And no, we weren't aware they weren't allowed.

Haven doors arent, but we just taped ours on.

Just off Viva and the doors are NOT magnetic.  Some walls in cabin are magnetic.
Like another poster mentioned, the doors are well marked for identification
