mskitty1 Posted January 21 #1 Share Posted January 21 Am interested in how many of you from Central Florida (Orlando area) get to cruises leaving from Port Everglades (Ft Lauderdale). Is there a bus that you can take? From where & cost info please.
donandmelissa Posted January 21 #2 Share Posted January 21 For long cruises, we rent a car at the Tampa airport (would work the same at Orlando) and drop it off at Fort Lauderdale International and Uber from there. One way rentals between those airports rarely charge an extra one way fee. For short cruises, we drive our own car and park at the port. Parking there is really easy. FOPMan Posted January 21 #3 Share Posted January 21 Brightline, a train service, runs from MCO to Fort Lauderdale and Miami. If you purchase their premiere service, it includes transfers to the ports.

(And yes, there's a premium departure lounge, but also not worth the upcharge unless one plans on waiting for several trains to go by first.)
