Goodness, that sounds a bit daring. Did I advance an argument or was it simply that all food is good in moderation, which is undoubtedly true? What is the droopy green stuff?

I believe you were bragging on the numerous health benefits of eating such a low calorie food for breakfast as often as possible.

Or maybe it was the opposite 🤔

That was spinach which I don't usually associate with breakfast but I do love spinach and it was very good.

I thought it looked like spinach (which I dislike) and then thought it couldn’t be as it was breakfast.

Is that cranberry sauce or lingonberries?

Mixed berry tapioca. Never had it before, was strange but good. Maybe not my favorite but I would eat it again. Was in the lower sugar corner.

It was Mexican day at the buffet which is not my favorite. Long line at the grill so I found some items to try. Best thing was the pulled pork the other items were so so but at least the correct temperature today.

The salad was better than it should have been, I must have put too much dressing on again 😆

Grabbed a coffee from al bacio enjoying it in the comfy seating at the Ensemble Lounge.

Back from my walk around Cozumel.

we usually go to the beach in Cozumel. I was unpleasantly surprised at how expensive Playa Palancar (not even all inclusive - we are talking just the entrance fee) and the taxi ride to and from was this time.

But we love that beach (their beach is lovely), so my DH and DS want to go back there in June... They also have wi-fi included with the fee.

Years ago we were at Money bar and they provided free wifi. That may have changed as well.

do they have iced coffee there and is it large and how much is it, if you don't mind? I only get it on cruises, and only if we have a bit of OBC. It's my guilty pleasure, especially since I already get so much sugar during the cruise, gobbling up all the desserts.

They had a number of beach clubs right by the port that would not require a cab ride. I don't think they are particularly nice beaches, but may be worth the lower price point.

I did nachi cocum back in 2018 and it was a wonderful experience, though I believe it was adults only so may not be what your looking for. I'm not much of a beach person myself, but I did enjoy my trip to nachi.

I'll find out about the coffees next time I pass by there.

we did that once, and it was awful.

We don't do all inclusive either, that's why we loved Playa Palancar in the past. But now they charge $20 pp in addition to food and drinks, and for 5 people it adds up quickly. Add to that a $40-50 taxi ride each way, and bam - you got yourselves an expensive beach day.

Ouch, yes that is quite expensive.

Those beach clubs don't look amazing by the pier, but one of these days I'm going to give them a try. I mostly just like the all inclusive aspect, the beach is just there. I'm more of a nice pool guy, the beach is too sandy for me 😆

I should avoid Bournemouth then. Our main selling point is ‘seven miles of golden sand’. I fear it would be wasted on you. On the other hand, by Florida standards, it isn’t too hot.

I enjoy beach adjacent. I love the water and the sounds and smells of the ocean. Just keep your golden sand to yourself 🤪

We should be sailing away at 4. I wanted to catch that, but I have not made it to the sauna yet today so I think I am going to do that instead.

Boy how these days are flying by, at least I don't have to fit in any gym time today after my outing in Cozumel.

Yes, it is lovely to walk beside. But better still when it’s warm enough to swim in.

The bar is well stocked. Lots of friendly bartenders with generous pours around the ship now that they know I will take care of them. It's a little more work, but I think I like this better than Royal's voucher system for loyalty drinks.

There is also an Elite event at 7:45 called captains toast which to me implies drinks so I'll be checking into that as well.

For now I'm going to head to the Ensemble Lounge to listen to some tunes if I can find a seat. Looked a little crowded earlier.

you could try Money Bar next time you are in Cozumel then. It has no beach to speak of, but there is snorkeling and drinking.

Stopped in the casino on the way here. I get $100 freeplay with my casino status. What a waste of time that was. Walked away with $52 real money which is free money, but a real stinker of a return on the investment.

Not cracked into the bar yet, just carrying it in case I need it after happy hour ends.

Got a seat, but there is a little too much background noise to hear the music think I'm gonna try somewhere else.
