Wine bottle

Recommended Posts

Sooo the RC rules for bringing wine, does not state the wine bottle is required to be in your carry-on, however I've noticed many people stating that if you put the wine bottle in your luggage, you could be called to guest services. I don't see why this would be, if RC clearly states you can bring wine 🤔 Can someone with RC experience chime in please? This is my first cruise with RC and ever.

It is also safer and less likely to have damage if you have it in your carry on versus if the bottle is in your luggage. As indicated, it is also so that the bottles you are bringing on can be confirmed by security at boarding as being wine versus spirits, etc.

And the amount you are allowed to bring on board is two bottles @ 750 ml per stateroom at original embarkation.

You would be called to guest services because the x-ray can't distinguish wine from other bottles.

But I do believe the rules do state that it must be carried on.

OoOoh that makes sense thanks!
