Website upgrade offers and OBC

I'm curious if anyone has experience with accepting an upgrade, offered on the Carnival website, and existing OBC.  When we originally booked our cruise it had an offer of $500 OBC and I'm wondering if we accept this $66 cabin upgrade will we lose our OBC?  I called Carnival and they've closed for the evening, I'll call tomorrow but keep thinking of the potential scenarios. Thank you.

We have accepted an upgrade and did not lose our OBC ( we double checked with our PVP first)

I did not lose my OBC when I accepted an upgrade offer. They're only changing your cabin (for a fee) not canceling and rebooking you.

Did not lose OBC when we moved to a suite on Horizon last year.

You won't lose your OBC but the offer might be gone (taken by someone else) by the time you try to "accept" it (that happened to us).
