Maya Chan already sold out for a 2026 date?

Hi,

I made a reservation inquiry for April 1, 2026 and heard back that they are sold out. I'm shocked that it would be full this far ahead.

Any thoughts or ideas for a comparable spot? Thanks!

Hayhu seems to be the new place on the block if your port hours were long enough go Maya Chan. Sounds like it was a private buy-out that far ahead.

In town our go to is Malecon 21. Lots like Jaimie’s if you want Ai but we have never been there.

Is that Easter week or in the middle of spring break?

Look at Hay Hu or Almaplena.

Their reservation system is probably like those used for hotels- inventory (or in this case, availability), is  only loaded 364 days out.  Translate "sold out" to "we haven't  gotten around to planning 2 years in advance yet".

Check back in mid April, 2025

  • 2 weeks later...

Sent a reservtion request for 3/14/24 and they are "OVERSOLD"  I asked if they normally get cancellations, they said check back from time to time. We are bummed as we have a group of 20 (family cruise with kids) and this was a perfect beach club.

20 people is a large group for any of the Costa Maya beach clubs at such short notice during Spring Break.

I think Maya Chan has an area where they generally put bigger groups and it must already be taken.
