Super Bowl

Haven’t done a Super Bowl cruise in several years.  But we went at least 2 hrs before to get a prime seat.  They will have popcorn and I believe some items in buffet.  Most ships have a burger grill and pizza area by pool already.

It has been a few years since we saw the SB on the ship.  On that ship they set up a tail gate on tables outside in the pool area with all types of finger food including chicken.  The attendants were busy serving drinks from the bar.  Go early!

Also, how early should we go upstairs to get a good seat?

It depends on the waters you are sailing.

On Asia / Aus / Kiwi and even Europe cruises, no one really cares.

Last year on the Sapphire we were in the explorer’s lounge. There were chips, queso, chicken, cookies and several other things. It was too cold to watch on MUTS. LOTS OF FUN!!!  GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!

As an Aussies on a cruise in the Pacific on that day it will be interesting to see what Princess does. It has appeared on the cruise planner (yesterday) as being shown on the ship's big screen, probably because we have a number of North Americans on-board. But you're correct for most of us its going to be of passing interest at best.

The above photos are actually the Super Bowl offerings on a Princess AU/NZ cruise.

The only complaint is you don’t see the Super Bowl ads. Lol!

I have seen many super bowls on board Princess ships. There are two types of ads, national and local. I have seen the national ads. The local ads are not shown the screen is usually a wide shot of the playing field.
