I hope you have better weather than on your last cruise. Any hope?

I haven't checked but we aren't off to a great start. I might not be exploring off the ship after all. I did get lucky and the rain cleared as I got to the terminal. Thought I was going to have to make a dash in the rain with my luggage.

It's 530 tick tock.

Ive become one of those people sitting at a machine waiting for the casino to open. I just need to play long enough for some tip money I swear I don’t have a problem.

Win big but also save me some money for next week in the casino 😊

Thanks! I ain't mad at my first try. Didn't win anything but played for a bit running up points without losing. $20 profit, I don't need to be rich just wanna play 🤣

Dinner was really good, as usual for CP150. I'd say Lawn Club Grill on Celebrity is my favorite specialty dining but CP150 is my favorite for consistently amazing food and service as I have only done Lawn Club one time.

One of the reasons I feel like this place stands out is the dishes feel well thought out. It's not just food on a plate arranged in a pretty manner. Each ingredient on the plate compliments the other ingredients and come together as a whole to excite and please your taste buds.

To start I enjoyed the bread. This was very good and is my favorite bread, I rarely eat bread but I devour this one. The bread was reaching the end of its lifespan, starting to go stale, but I still enjoyed it just would liked it to have been fresher.

The short rib starter was big enough to be a meal on it's own and it was just a pretty piece of meat, it was tender and full of flavor. The polenta it was served atop was a great pairing as were the pearl onions which provided a nice crunch. It was almost too fatty for me but I imagine that is also where a lot of its wonderful flavor came from, its just a texture thing for me.

The beet salad was a nice light option to pair with that monster hunk of meat. Again, the flavors all played off each other and they did so perfectly. The slightly sweet walnuts and salty prosciutto along with the pungent goat cheese made for a perfect bite along the earthy beet taste (unless you are  @ninjacat123 then its still going to taste like dirt 🙂). Very well executed dish.

The fish was another home run. Perfectly moist and well seasoned with a hint of lemon, salt, and even a little spice I don't recall being there before. I enjoyed it though. The onion straws on top contrasted the soft fish with a delightful crunch. It was served with mashed potatoes which I don't think added anything and I am pretty sure this is usually paired with a potato salad and as the original recipes are clearly well thought out, I think that made the dish more enjoyable and complimented the fish better. I still really enjoyed it however.

The dessert was fried cheesecake. The filling itself is not real sweet but rather a delightful and thick ricotta type filling. It gets lots of sweetness added though when paired with the Nutella and whipped cream. This is another favorite and was excellent tonight as it always is.

Service was outstanding, each dish was presented and served with a description of the items on the plate. As they call themselves, they are culinary guides and not waiters. The food was plentiful and I am happy to have not nibbled while waiting on dinner as I have left stuffed to the brim. If you only allow yourself one specialty dinner on Oasis class, it needs to be Central Park 150, it truly does not ever disappoint.

Schooner Bar opens at 8:30, I've never tried to get in on an Oasis class but the venue does not seem big enough so I want to be there before it opens. I still have a little time to kill so I am going to find something to do for a few minutes. I think I could probably go to sleep right now, but I am gonna shake it off and see what I can get into tonight.

Too bad you had a rainy sailaway.. hopefully the weather improves tomorrow! Dinner looked yummy 🤤 I’ve never tried 150….

True but a rainy day sailing out of Miami still beats a rainy day at work, so there is that at least. I can't recommend 150 enough, it is truly an amazing dinner.
