Thanks for posting your boarding time - I have the earliest next Sunday so hoping it goes quickly and smoothly like yours today!

I am going to check out Portside BBQ as well - the menu looks really good.

Grim. So have people reserved already? How can you be locked out?

My dinner reservation was causing a conflict. The system thinks dinner should take four hours, which would be a problem if it does. Line moved once additional crew showed up to help folks in line who just didn't know how to use the app.

Booked for 1015 she strongly recommended against 8 even though I don't see why dinner will take even 90 minutes.

You're welcome. I will have some food pics for Portside as the week goes on 😀

No reservations available so I walked in and was told there was no room. I gave my best pretty please and he said he could squeeze me in but to be patient with service. So patient I will be, happy to get in and surprised 11 was too late to get a reservation for lunch yikes.

The menu

That risotto looked really great. The plating seemed much better than Carnival’s or indeed your own. Yum.

It was literally perfect. Other than the portion, but that was on me for ordering a half portion 😅

The filet was good. It didn't really stand out in any way but it was cooked perfectly, and unlike the early days of the restart, it was a good cut of meat. They really struggled with sourcing at first but no problems these days I'm pleased to see. The potatoes served with it were pretty to look at piped on the plate, but lacked any flavor.

The dessert was a chocolate lovers dream come true! It was so decadent without being overly sweet or rich. The fruit paired nicely as did the toasted hazelnuts. Very delicious.

Overall a good meal. This is my least favorite of Royal's three different Italian restaurants. I prefer the new Giovanni's concept the most with Jamie's a close second. I seem to be the only one with that opinion though 🙂

I'm not really full but I could have ordered more food. I thought my first day off the diet I would have trouble eating much and don't want to spoil my dinner as CP150 is a favorite!

Service was no problem. Everyone was super friendly and management pitched in waiting tables to help the staff keep up.

No nap even though my eyes are quite heavy.

I see the casino does not open until 8:30 tonight 😱. That doesn't make sense, I'm hoping it's a typo. I forgot tip money so I have no cash until the casino opens.

Gonna put in a bottle of my loyalty gift to get cold in case I need it. Was hoping to take them both home.

I don't want to spoil my appetite for dinner tonight but I am really hungry right now.

Sail away is listed as 430 and app says casino opens at 530. Much more likely I hope.

Taking a walk probably head to the gym to finish my second mile then see if any ships are sailing away yet.
