I always stay in a solo room so I can uncheck it. If a couple are in a room and one person drinks and the other one doesn’t, then you’re screwed, since it applies to the cabin.   

$40 a day or so..for even one person is still a good deal…makes sense to take it then, why pay $109 plus grats for one?

as a clarification - ALL NCL ships have 'solo' cabins, starting with Jan 2, 2024 sailings. They're re-classed cabins in their respective categories, but they're called solo cabins nonetheless...
