Are the walls and doors magnetic?

Just off the Jade.  The wall (at least on 1 side) was magnetic - I was able to use the hook magnets I brought.

We will be sailing on the Joy in the future, our first trip on NCL.  Did I read somewhere that the walls are not magnet? True or not?  I assumed a steel ship would be almost totally magnetic.

Most walls/doors/ceilings are metal, however some of the surfaces have a covering/coating that makes it tricky for some magnets to stick. If your magnets are super strong, they should work just about anywhere.

That does not make the wall magnetic.  Your magnetic was the magnetic object not the wall.  Just an FYI.
