  4. I did not know that clothing had degrees of intelligence. I have always worn jeans and a t-shirt and my IQ is in the 140s. I never had any issues with my clothing in any dining facility (from the buffet to the Haven) on any NCL ship. He will be OK anywhere.
  5. You still paid, it was just not segregated out. Setting up the DSC is merely an accounting issue. It makes no difference at all to the bottom lien cost. Its like you can either pay $105.00 for something or $100 plus a 5% processing fee. Hell I do not care if they break it down penny by penny for me, I am still paying the exact same amount in total.

  7. Nothing HAS TO be anything. Between now and September many things can change. ASSUMING THAT NOTHING CHANGES BETWEEN NOW AND SEPTEMBER your statement is accurate though.
  8. DSC might have gone up but seeing as gratuities are 100% optional they only go up if you decide to give more.

  11. Actually I typically get a response to my requests within an hour or so when dealing with NCL.
  12. I never use a TA and I have yet to find anyone who can match let alone beat the offers I get. I do not want to have to contact a third party any time I need something. That "they can help you if something goes wrong" point is absurd. I have never had a thing go wrong and if it does I do not want to have to track down a T/A and then them track down NCL. I'll handle it myself.

  18. Accepting FCC --IS-- getting refunded and it is accepting the terms of the offer. There was nothing assumed (other than some people foolishly assuming that they could change their mind later on their choice of taking FCC) . The very act of taking the FCC constitutes acceptance. All that is required for a contract to be valid is offer and acceptance. Silence is not a part of that equation. You may not like that, but that is the way it is. It is all very basic Business Law 101.
  19. HA HA HA so when someone makes a valid point that is contradictory to your view this is the best reply you can come up with? I was responding to a post that stated that stated NCL was using man hours of resources in an unwise manner. I pointed out how foolish his point was. That would be the same no matter what company was being discussed. Any good programmer who had knowledge of the database structure in question could write the required SQL in mere minutes.   20. 1) Making an ASSUMPTION about when one can use FCC has no bearing on the issue. 2) Explaining that you got refunded already by the cruise line with with FCC YOU agreed to take as full settlement means that the CC company should deny your request. 3) NO ONE 'KNEW' or KNOWS" what cruises will sail or not. 4) Any business can file for bankruptcy protection at any time.
