Special celebration at MDR

Going on Icon this weekend.  Traveling with a couple that is celebrating their wedding anniversary and it’s their first cruise.  
Can the MDR arrange for a cake with happy anniversary on it?  How do I request?  Just tell the head waiter on night 1?

You can purchase a cake from  royal gifts ( on the website).

We've done that.  Talk to your waiter or head waiter a day or more 8n advance.   They'll be happy to help.

Yes the dining room will do something if you mention it, most likely won't be a cake but a piece or 2 or a dessert with a candle in it.  They will attempt to sing too.  Many have special occasions on board you won't be the only ones.

You can either buy a large cake (arrange with a headwaiter a day in advance) or just tell the waiters.  The latter will get you a small piece of cake to share, candle, and singing for free.  Or you could book them a dinner in a specialty restaurant.
