New to RCC.. Question about room service

Hi everyone....

 

Could anyone tell me about room service on the ship? Is it free? Of course we will tip our delivery person.... hubby loves to order a late night snack to enjoy on the balcony!

Continental breakfast is free but there is flat charge ($7.95?) for any other order.

Not free unless you are in a full suite.  I believe the RS delivery fee is $7.95 plus 18% gratuity (comes to about $10).

Just to be totally clear, that charge is per order, not per item.

 

So you could order a huge five course feast for both of you, or order a single basket of French fries and the cost would be $7.95+18% either way.

 

So it’s a great deal when you’re ordering a lot, and not so much if you’re ordering a little.

Don't forget to order a few bags of chips whenever you place a room service order -that's the only place they are available on board.😇

On Oasis class ships you can ask for them at Park cafe, as well. They have em tucked away, but they usually have them

They did not have them on any of our eight cruises on either Wonder or Harmony over the last 18 months. We were told by the counter person that they were no longer stocking them when we asked.
