jdk-atlga Posted May 21 #1 Share Posted May 21 All: As a heads up, if you are disembarking in Greenwich, I strongly suggest that you pre-arrange your transportation from the Cutty Sark pier area.Following our SB Venture cruise (Edinburgh to Greenwich), I "presumed" that there would be a fleet of taxis, conveniently located, to whisk us away to our London Hotel. Alas, we had to try to flag one/anyone down, streets away, with the assistance of a baggage porter (I left a healthy tip). This process took well over half-an-hour and was completely unexpected by us. For those pax that had pre-arranged, there was a nice waiting fleet of cars/drivers to carry them away. Again, pre-book your Greenwich transportation - either by SB to airport, limo or taxi - to be waiting for you. Best, jdk
DC Traveler244 Posted May 21 #2 Share Posted May 21 I strong second for this recommendation. Greenwich definitely is not a typical cruise port.

Island2Dweller Posted May 23 #5 Share Posted May 23 And if you are happy to carry your bags a few yards, the Cutty Sark stop on the DLR is barely two minutes walk away. It has a lift to the platform, no worry about steps
