LIVE B2B CARNIVAL JUBILEE JUNE 8-JUNE 22 2024

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Yep gonna do a Live, leave 1 week from today on the Carnival Jubilee. Currently  a few days of work contract left, then leaving Fayetteville, NC where I have spent the last few months and heading south to Jacksonville Fl for an appointment, then off to home for an overnight, back to Jacksonville the next day-flying out the 7th of June to Houston. Lots to do between now and then.

First week I'm solo, second week traveling with family. First solo cruise!

Decided to book this out of Galveston so family would be closer to the port and not have to fly. I traveled on the Carnival Celebration for her 1st transatlantic and really liked the ship, would like to experience the Jubilee. I love the Spirit class too!

My little tiny room for 2 months (well okay, an identical room because the AC crapped out in my other room 2 weeks ago so I moved across the hall) and my Lacroix staples! (need my fizzy water)

Planned Activities/Dining for week 1- hot stone massage, Steakhouse 1st night (this has become a tradition for me), Rudi's Seagrill, and Bonsai Teppanyaki.

Excursions- Ultimate Mexology class by Jose Cuervo  (Usually in Cozumel, I like to go to Palmeras to eat but going to try something different)

The first week I plan on reading a ton and relaxing, throw in a little Lady Luck in the casino, and music around the ship.

My absolute favorite drink is the Smoky Watermelon Margarita!

Have a WONDERFUL cruise!!  I'll be here waiting for photos and to hear about your fun!!!

I don't cruise out of Galveston till November...  the last day of November...  It's a looooong wait -- but I'm up for it!!!

I have to say, my favorite drink is the Kiss on the Lips...  I love the mango in it!!!  On Carnival, my favorite non-alcoholic beverage is the Banana Split Smoothie!!!  These were made as ADULT Banana Split Smoothies...  with a bit of rum!!!  And he was a "B-artist" and added our names, too!!

No photo description available.

At first I thought you spelled "mixology" wrong, then realized the purposeful spelling!

Have fun doing this Live From, and we're looking forward to following along with you!

Today- laundry, car wash (have to find a self wash place as mine wont fit in an automatic car wash), hunting for local NC dry rubs for DH's smoker.

My trusty steed!

Sounds good! Hope you get home and then have a wonderful cruise. A massage and a few adult beverages are just what the doctor ordered. Glad you’re getting out of that little room soon, but glad you got some time with your school friend and go to a cidery with her (never heard that term!).

Have you already left? I believe Hamrick's over near Cross Creek Mall carries Redneck BBQ rubs and sauces. It is a local place over in Benson. They have a restaurant but also do BBQ competitions.

What Italian restaurant was that? I've only done Sammio's in Fayetteville (Olive Garden doesn't count LOL). My sister lives near Fayetteville, so I am there from time to time and am always on the lookout for places to eat.

Either the one you can't buy at home, or the most expensive one to replace.

I actually had Sammio's one day- someone brought lunch in to the office and it was delicious! The office was on Robeson and there was a Sammio's on Raiford road right around the corner

I ate at a place called Little Italy- right across the parking lot from my hotel (I would not stay at that hotel again)

I wish i had known about that bbq place!

I have already left, arrived in Jacksonville Fl, 2 hours ago
