Concierge Club for Platinum Guests

We just got off the Glory today, and for the last week we thoroughly enjoyed the "perks" offered through the Concierge Club for Platinum guests. It was absolutely wonderful. We received all of the things promised plus some additional surprises that were very nice indeed. We were Platinum on the Legend in March, and the treatment was nothing like we received on the Glory. They really knew how to treat us well this time. For those Platinum guests that haven't received this treatment yet, you will love it! We're looking forward to our next cruise since they seemed to have ironed out the problems we had in March.

We had our Platinum experience on the Glory in May! They definetly have got it going on that ship! From the time we got there, personal escort to the front of the line,we were on the ship having lunch at 11:45...the only ones ahead of us were two wedding parties. Tote bags, fruit basket, stationary, petit fours, canapes...and early debarkation. We chose to have them take our bags the night before. No need to do self-assist if you are Platinum on this ship. We were first off, then Vacation Club Members, then self-assist early debarkation, then regular debarkation. We were off the ship and in the parking lot by 8:00a.m.!

Hope Miracle has it going as good as the Glory for our next cruise!

Everything Cruzn Buckeye said happened to us. In addition, we had a bottle of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries delivered to the cabin - the strawberries were delivered personally by the hotel manager who introduced himself to us. We also had the free laundry service and free entries into either the slot or blackjack tournaments. When we got to the dining room the first night, the hostess personally escorted us to the table, and later she asked us if we wanted our waiter to be our personal waiter at breakfast every morning, but we told her that wasn't necessary. Since we had a table for 2 at dinner, when she saw us at breakfast, she told the person seating us to give us a private table. Having the personal escort all the way onto the ship was terrific, as was the way debarkation worked - no problems at all. We received personal calls from the Concierge Desk to see how things were going, and we could have had priority tender tickets at Belize, but we chose not to get off. All in all, a GREAT experience!

Yes, 10 is the magic number. Check your cruise history, though, and make sure Carnival has ALL of your cruises listed. Because I had booked almost all of our cruises, I was listed at 13 cruises in March, but my husband was only listed at 3, and it caused big problems because they said he wasn't platinum. It took almost the whole week to get it straightened out.

I just got off the Inspiration from my 12th Carnival cruise, 2nd one in a month. Both cruises gave me some perks but I have yet to get ALL the ones I hear people are getting or anyone really going out of their way because I am Platinum. Perhaps I need another cruise this year on one of the newer ships to find out for sure!!! LOL
