ROLL CALL-- Legend 3/11-3/18

Well Blackbird is still waiting for his suite for the Mar 4th cruise. It is a direct booking and I plan to call this Friday if it still has not been assigned.

Question:

Without carrying a plater of cookies to the bridge, :p do they open the bridge on sea days?

Seabourn, it seems, is assigning the guarantee suites at the last minute. For my last November Legend crossing I did not get my suite assignment until after I had arrived in Malaga, 2 or 3 days before embarkation. The ship was "sold out" as all wait listed passengers contacted paid up. My TA was calling Seabourn daily the last week before embarkation and she emailed me as soon as she found out my suite number.

Opening the bridge on sea days is entirely at the Captain's discretion. If the waters you are sailing on sea days are not heavily trafficked, then it should not be a problem. On the crossings, I always drop by for a chat with the Captain and usually the Second Officer on duty.

Paul,

Eric DeGray is boarding the Legend today in Ft. Laud! You'll surely enjoy "Mr. Broadway"~~~Yee Haw!

Also, my good friend, Barbara, Excursion Manager, will be aboard.

Have a wonderful sailing~~~:p

Martita B.

Martita,

Is it the same Barbara (from Austria) who was on the Pride in December? She is very efficient and never seemed to tire of specific questions.

Having just disembarked, I was delighted to find Jo in his 'newish' position as the Cruise Specialist! So he and Barbara share the office and some of the duties. They are both so wonderful and efficient.

Chef Ioan is very good, and if you can, dine at '2' with Chef Ricky Marco who is wonderful too. And he makes a terrific curry dinner/lunch!

Also, BB,on sea days there were bridge tours.

Jane (waiting for my home to warm up, more later!)

Yesterday's mail finally contained our tickets. Yeah. I must say, I'm impressed. Lucky they got to my TA, as they had her address wrong. House Ave. instead of Howe Ave. Think someone in the mailroom is a Hugh Laurie fan or something?

Jackie

see you all soon

John III, I hope your mother is getting better so that you will not be worrying about her during your vacation.

I do not know how I will be able to live on the Upper deck ...:p

Quite well, I must only imagine! I was in 314 on the Pride in December, and I think you'll be okay...:D

Now get those luggage tag labels ready! ;)

Congrats...

anim_bounce.gifanim_bounce.gif I have my suite number.... 303.... Happy Happy Joy Joy :)

One work week out..... I do not know how I will be able to live on the Upper deck ...:p

I'm definitely jealous of all of you who are sailing so soon. Your joy is pretty contagious!

I'm confused, also, because when I booked my cruise I was given a cabin #. Is that something that is subject to change?

I don't leave til June 23rd, so til then, I will have to live vicariously through all of you. Not such a bad thing!

Bon Voyage!

No I booked Single Run of the Ship rate so I do not get a suite number until near sailing...

Thanks, Blackbird! I guess I'm showing how new I am to all of this! Looks to me, like you have a great suite!

V.M. & I will be in Suite 315, Rome to Rome. I can hardly contain myself. 14 days on the Mediterranean. I'm not really the sort to get all dressed up, so I'm still trying to come to grips with all of that. V.M. will adapt better than I will, I wouldn't be surprised if he bought a tux!

Again, have a wonderful time on the Crossing!

Matt:

I'll be sure to do just that! I'm curious, myself! ;)

BB:

I can almost assure you that the sound of the anchor won't bother me! I can roll over & go back to sleep with the best of 'em!! (Particularly after a "late night" ;) )

Paul

who's looking forward to a week of late nights...:)

Paul,

That's a grrrreat Suite! Not only is it a mini Owner's Suite, but,it's right by the laundry room and just up the stairwell is the secret Deck 5 whirlpool! (where we stood to see the green flashes in Dec.)

Now you can be a member of the exclusive club, "I stayed in 100/101!" :p Many Seabournites try to book these suites.

Thanks Paul. Great suite assignment for you. I just checked ours, we're in 234, which is a handicap cabin (which we don't need) so therefore doesn't have a tub. Darn. Anyone know how else it may have been modified? Are we going to flood the suite when we take a shower?

I note it's also by the elevator, don't need that either.

Ms. M:

Don't spread the word...I want to keep "our" lil' whirlpool a secret, too! :D

Paul

who's thinking it might be convenient for a lil' pool party up on deck 5...;)

You will be conducting tours of your suite, right? We'll be glad to join you for some whirlpooling since we don't have a bathtub in our cabin. We'll supply the bubble bath. ;)

Jackie

I've got my critter mascot!!! I had to borrow it from a co-worker's 2 year old daughter so will have to find something cute to bring back home with it.

That's my favorite suite, and I can confess that it's more convenient for me for many reasons. While there is no tub, the shower is large enough for a terrific shower for two..if that floats your boat. My stewardess put a folded hand towel just by the 'lip' of the shower, because it can spray a bit. Also, the bed can't be separated to twins. The seat below the window is more narrow than in the other suites, so it works better as a shelf than a 'bum rest', at least as far as mine is concerned. Otherwise, it's the same and while it's 'handicapped' identified, the the other passageways are not wider or more easiy accessible.

Enjoy!!!!

>"Oh No Batman the infamous Anchor Suite.... "

Now, BB, do us a favor, please? If your suite set up is not as you have requested, please wait a bit before posting that you will never sail on Seabourn again. Just take a deep breath; all glitches are easily solved and then we will all rest easier!

Also, please promise no 'full monty' at the secret jaccuzzi. It's not that secret!
