Special coffee shop on the Legend?

Hi all - sorry if this has been asked a million times before (is there a search feature on these boards?) but I don't see a special coffee bar on the deck plans for the Legend...is there one? I fear DH may not go on this cruise if he has to drink the stuff from room service or the buffet.

Legends Cafe - Deck 2 forward, past the casino near the Follies Lounge. That was our sea day morning hangout after trivia - we'd get coffee, then sit near the windows and play Gin Rummy while we enjoyed the coffee. The capuccino's really good!

Oh, thank goodness - I do see "legends cafe" on the deck plans, but couldn't tell exactly what it was. Thanks!

If all the Spirit class ships are the same (we have been on the Spirit and the Pride) the coffee was very good and pretty reasonable (considering it was on a cruise ship).

You're right - there is an "outlet" there. I forgot about that one!:)

But I've always found it strange it's never listed in the plans. It just says PIZZA.

Anyway, to stay on topic, there is a small coffee bar in the Lido restaurant, to the right of the pizza stand if you're walking aft. I don't think they have desserts there, though.

We loved the Legends Cafe!!! They have FANTASTIC Cafe Mocha's!!! I think we spent more there than we did on actual bar drinks. They ran about $3.50 plus tip for a Venti when we were on there so it may have gone up a little. It's as close to Starbucks as you can get! BTW, they had some great desserts there very reasonable also!

My sister purchased a cookie on the last day at the "Legends Cafe". She said it was pretty good.

I thought coffee was included in the price of the cruise?? Along with iced tea, and juice? I see here that you now have to pay extra for this. What's the scope??

Coffee is included. Specialty coffees are not. Although you can get an occasional espresso or cappucino with dinner.

We smuggle our own Scope. (please, no flames) We hide it in a mouthwash bottle and send it in our checked luggage. ;)

I have always been able to get an espresso or cappucino after a meal in the Dining Room on the ships that I have sailed. I was even able to get some at the bar by the Casino at any time. They were OK but not as god as what can be purchased in the SPecialty Cafe's. The former are made by an automatic machine while the latter is made to order with the huge machines such as used in Starbucks.

 

I am glad to hear that there are TWO locations for specialty coffee on the Legend :)
