ESLO Posted January 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Hi All Currently On The Noordam, (Arriving Back At NYC Tomorrow Early Morning) Sorry to announce that the weather that you enjoyed and left with on the 6th had come and is definitely GONE! Tomorrow will be very much different weather then you have been experiencing on your cruise. Today and into tomorrow, the weather is changing to very cold and temperatures will be dropping more overnight into tomorrow morning. I can image what the open decks should feel like - here comes those heavy coats you took with you. The expected weather for tomorrow morning from the time you arrive around the Jersey Coast to NYC Harbor: (4AM - 7AM) Especially With The Sun Down Party Cloudy, Very Cold, Blustery Temp- 19 degrees Feels Like- 10 to 0 degrees Winds- 14 to 15 mph Gusts- 20 to 27 mph Not sure what the Ocean Conditions will be. I know that the Amsterdam left last night from NYC on their World Cruise with Cold, Windy and Foggy Weather also. Will give you an update later in the day from latest weather reports. Hoping you all are rested up and have a safe arrival back to NYC and your respected homes. PS..... Say Hello to Cruiseking (Jonathan) for me (ESLO-Ed)! u4ea Posted January 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2007 I know that the Amsterdam left last night from NYC on their World Cruise with Cold, Windy and Foggy Weather also. Hi, you are mistaken with that statement, the Amsterdam left Florida for their world cruise, anyway, the Noordam is probably having rough seas now as they sail in. http://www.oceanweather.com/data/ Mark…. Krazy Kruizers Posted January 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2007 I agree that the Noordam may be having some rough seas today. We live in western PA and the temperature is only in the low 30's and constantly dropping compared to yesterdays high of 52. Light snow also. Rare LAFFNVEGAS Posted January 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2007 I do feel really bad for all of them, they had it so nice when they left and I am sure they had beautiful weather the past 10 days. Then to come home to this:( many will have it just as bad at home as well. Stay warm everyone:)

caribbean girl Posted January 18, 2007 #11 Share Posted January 18, 2007 What a bummer to have to come back to this cold weather, especially since it's been such a mild winter in the Northeast. I hope you had a wonderful cruise and that your memories of the warm weather offer some consolation.:) We will be boarding the Noordam in a couple of weeks~hope we have smooth seas out of NYC.
