Laundry prices

Does anyone know the cost to have your clothes laundered on the Star? Does it get cheaper the more articles of clothing you give them?

Two or three times during the cruise they will offer a special rate of $25 to launder all you can fit into the laundry bag. It takes 24-48 hours to be returned and the bag size is quite gereous. Otherwise you pay by the item.

Laundry prices from the Sun last Feb were:

 

Shirt/Blouse: $4.00

Shirts formal/special: $4.50

Polo/tshirt: $3.00

Jacket: $6.00

Dress: $6.00

Trousers/jeans: $4.00

Skirt: $4.00

Shorts: $3.50

Tracksuit pants or top: $3.00

pjs/nightdress: $5.50

Undershirt/single: $2.00

Underwear: $2.00

Socks/pantyhose: $1.50

Slip: $2.00

Bra: $2.00

Hanky: $1.00

 

I am sure the Star prices would be the same.

Hi AuzzieCruiser, it used to be free on sun , just payed for washing powder, but now you pay $2.00 for each..washer, dryer .

I don't mind paying $2 to use the facilities. We paid 2USD to use each of the laundry facilities on the Diamond. You may need to take some US dollars if you intend on using the laundry on the Sapphire. Better to be safe than sorry.;)

The bad news is, there is no guest laundry on the Pacific Star...

On our 7 night cruise on the Star, the $25 bag was only offered once, on day 4 I think. I managed to fit a great deal into the bag ( with careful folding!) & there were 4 of us travelling.

HI. Just home today from Pacific Sun. Laundry is $1-00 for washing machine and dryer. I found I needed to put 2 lots of $1-00 for the dryer. Suexxx

They do, but I can't remember how much. Only $1 or $2 I think.

Auzziecruiser, box of powder is $1-00. Does 2 washes. I took a small amount of liquid in a plastic bottle. Suexxx
