lauracruise2004 Posted June 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2007 OK, kinda dumb question, so please be gentle. We've never sailed on RCCL before, and sailing AOS 7/1/07 :) Southern Caribbean. Does the Main Dining on our tickets refer to a dining room or to the main (first) seating? Also, how do you know which dining room you are assigned to? Any info would be appreciated! Main seating on RC is early or first seating. When you get your SeaPass cards at check-in, your seating and table assignment (dining room and table number) will be printed on them. threeofus Posted June 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2007 Although the dining room is tiered it is all the same dining room. Yes do check your table assignment when you board so you will know where you are sitting.
Saintsfan007 Posted June 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2007 Yes, first seating, and table assignment. Some people will go to the dining room, upon arrival, to see where they are seated. Some are just curious, and others want to make sure they have a decent location.
banderboo Posted June 20, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2007 as mentioned check your table assignment when you get onboard. If it is not to your liking check with the head waiter about changing. They will try to accomodate a change if possible.
Emi's Mom Posted June 20, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2007 Yes, first seating, and table assignment. Some people will go to the dining room, upon arrival, to see where they are seated. Some are just curious, and others want to make sure they have a decent location. Especially if you've requested a table for two! Get there early because the go fast! Nliedel Posted June 20, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2007 and some just don't want to get lost at dinner the first night. That someone being me. I once had a bad experience of too many glasses of wine, a different tier and some other things. It was not pretty.
