mohavemommy Posted August 15, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2004 I'm pretty much to the point of flying the coop with Carnival. I am getting very interested in RCCL. I just want to see what some of the differences are..... this time I am looking for a room service menu. I know on Carnival I was stuck with cold sandwiches and chips from room service and it is my understanding that you can also get hot good food on RCCL. Tell all...... ;) Any help would be appreciated. :D

What I am looking for is the list of what you can order from room service at any time of the day by just a phone call... anybody know where I can find that one??? mohavemommy Posted September 11, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted September 11, 2004 Still looking for the Room Service menu. Not the one for breakfast, but the one that shows what you can order 24 hrs a day.......
cprofits Posted September 11, 2004 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2004 That would be a great thing to have if anyone would like to take a picture of the room service menu and bring it back to 'us.' :)
Atiya Posted September 11, 2004 #8 Share Posted September 11, 2004 I imagine someone is reading this from on board and will post something more concrete, but basically the non-mealtime room service menu is pretty limited. I remember burgers, turkey sandwich, maybe soup? My favorite item was the fruit and cheese plate, which made a great light snack between coming back from shore excursions and dinner. I think for "good, hot food" you really need to order during lunch or dinner.

doobie Posted September 12, 2004 #12 Share Posted September 12, 2004 I Thought I found on the RCCL website....we had room service on Voyager of the Seas ad few times..better off in the dining room. Hot food usually cold by time it hits you room...limited menu gets old real fast...good news you can order 24/7..
garnetjanet Posted September 12, 2004 #13 Share Posted September 12, 2004 I don't remember where I found this listed, but I had copied and pasted it into the notes I gave to those on our past cruise (I am saving them for everyone going with us on the Mariner again in 2 years). ellen m Posted September 13, 2004 #14 Share Posted September 13, 2004 Garnetjanet what you have listed is pretty accurate from what I remember. During lunch and dinner you can have almost the exact same thing as in the dinning room, only exception that I can remember off hand is no lobster. rubrrick Posted March 26, 2006 #23 Share Posted March 26, 2006 Mohavemommy..........love to see that you have kept your thread alive for a couple of years! When is your next cruise? We just got off of the Monarch a couple of weeks ago. She's in great shape, and the crew was continuing to recarpet in some of the public areas, late night stuff. My DW and I are booked again for the 4 night in the first week of September. Rick PS It took you a year and a half to find the room service menu?:D :D
mohavemommy Posted March 26, 2006 Author #24 Share Posted March 26, 2006 I sail again next month! Glad to hear she is looking good. I just love that ship! No silly, it didn't take me two years to find it... just two to post it! :D I have been on the Monarch twice since I posted this question and look forward to her again! ;)
