No escargot or French onion soup

I'm sorry, I know you'll tell me I should read all the posts but where did you get the menus? I'd like to see them.

I've been making the Julia Child version for years but admit I don't make my own stock. The vermouth and cognac are what sets her recipe apart. With crusty bread it is a staple on our winter time menu.

I just got off the Caribbean Princess and there was no escarot offered on any of the nights and they had the new style menus.

 

Odd that one ship would have it and the other wouldn't. I wonder if they are doing an experiment to see how many people will complain about not offering it.

 

I can't recall if they offered French Onion soup, but I don't think so.

I read somewhere that it was served on the second formal night..but you had to ask for it..does anyone know if this is true??

We were on the Golden to Mexico last week and they had escargot. I can't remember which night it was.. a different one than frogs legs because we did the steak house that night (and well worth it.. yum).

 

I think I remember French Onion soup being offered but I'm not 100% sure since I didn't get it.

 

And I have no idea if these are old or new menus since it was our first Princess cruise.
