Our local news carried a story of a couple that was heading to the Bahamas. They got there three days ago, went to their hotel and were told in no uncertain terms to GO HOME. They are back home now.

 

One of the hardest things about this hurricane is the sitting and waiting for it to strike. Like a monster that is approaching, and you just have to wait. My heartfelt prayers are with everyone that this will affect.

 

We'll be in Nassau in 2 1/2 weeks, God willing, if it's still able to let us dock there.

What I am curious about is that the a few of the Carnival ships that have changed itineraries are listing that they will be going to Nassau & Freeport on their updated itineraries. These places may not even have electrical or water after Frances comes thru. What is Carnival thinking?

Maybe they figure Nassau and freeport will need a couple thousand "volunteers" to help with cleanup..:)
