Hey All,

I have been searching different threads but I cannot seem to find an answer to the following question. If my DH and I decide to have breakfast in the PG, does anyone know if they have Mimosa's available during breakfast? Thanks:cool:

Well, I know for sure that they have the orange juice part! :)

I have gotten a Bloody Mary, so I am sure they will satisfy a Mimosa craving as well.

Cheers

OK, I admit it...I remain confused. Questions:

1) If we are in an Oosterdam SY cabin (superior, not deluxe) are we allowed to go to the Pinnacle for breakfast and/or lunch? I've seen posts indicating yes and those indicating no.

2) That asked, we do have dinner reservations there (once). How do we determine the tip amount for dinner...is it based on the surcharge or the cost of the dinner and if it's the dinner, how does one determine that amount? I've read on this board there is no dinner tip...that it's part of the dinner "surcharge", but when calling HAL to make the dinner reservation, I was told since the Pinnacle wait-staff differed from the regular dining room staff, tipping would be appropriate? We do intend to tip the person who brings room service if we choose to order. I assume $2 would be sufficient for one person's coffee? I assume $3 would be sufficient for appetizers before dinner?

Thoughts? Help please!

I also have a ? hopefully someone has the answer to. We are in a SC suite on the Westerdam, seattle RT. I remember reading something in a post about a suite brunch in the Pinacle with the captain. Also a suite reception. Anyone know about these? Thanks!

Only those passengers who have booked PS, SA, SB and SC can have breakfast in the Pinnacle --sorry SY does not qualify.

Anyone can have lunch in the Pinnacle when it is open -- cost is $15 per person.

We tip according to the service we receive. The Pinnacle staff is not from the dining room.

In recent months HAL has done away with the suite lunches on the majority of the cruises. On our recent 23 day Ryndam cruise, our captain chose to have a suite buffet in the dining room. But on our 7 day Maasdam cruises -- nothing.

The suite cocktail party is held either the first evening of the cruise or the next day at lunch time if it is a sea day -- held in the Neptune Lounge.
