First time with Princess.....when or what do we get as far as tickets or paperwork for the cruise. We are 45 days out for the Grand and outside of filling out our information on the personalizer, we have seen or heard nothing else.

Just wondering if we should be concerned or just sit tight.

thanks

You will not receive any tickets for the cruise. Princess has gone to paperless tickets. You can go to princess.com and print off your boarding pass. You will need your booking number if you have not already register with the sight.

As to air tickets, these also have pretty much been eliminated. If you air is thru Princess, you can print the itinerary.

You should have received a pre-cruise doc package around 60 or so days out. Most of what it contains you can also get online (shore excursion booklets and booking forms, cruise answer book, etc.) This package also contains your luggage tags. I would inquire with your TA as to where this package is.

Worse comes to worse you can just get luggage tags from a porter at the dock.

Here's an excerpt from an email I recently got from our TA concerning our upcoming trip.

Princess has recently converted entirely to electronic tickets to streamline your travel plans for an even more relaxing and stress-free Princess escape. Princess eTickets offer you expedited boarding, convenient 24 hour online access from your home or office, and a much more timely and efficient handling of your cruise documents.

Before your cruise, you will need to print a Boarding Pass for each passenger to take with you when you check-in to board the ship. You may also print your Travel Summary to carry as a reference. Please visit the below site to review any necessary information and print your boarding passes. To sign in all you need is your name and reservation number.

Once you have signed in and completed your passenger and immigration information along with registering your credit card to be used for your on-board account, you can then go to the Travel Summary section to email or view your Travel Summary and Boarding Pass. You will then have the option to Print your Travel Summary or Boarding Pass. If your boarding pass is not available please complete the necessary information, indicated as "Incomplete".

We are on the Grand January 19th and we received our luggage tags and cruise answer booklet around Thanksgiving. You may want to check with your TA on those docs and see where they are.
